Kangaroo Kisses
Brotherly love fills the yard with sunshine!
Young joeys jumping in and out of their mother's pouches are always a joy to watch. We're blessed to have many wallaby families (medium-sized kangaroos) live freely around our house. While some of the youngsters cheekily eat my roses, most of them being shy and gentle forage around the yard keeping a safe distance, eating the the thorny weeds (called bindi) and so keeping our lawn soft and lush.
The older siblings keep an eye on the younger ones and occasionally we see them playing. Ron captured some beautiful tender moments between two young ones and we're delighted to be able to share them with you.
